Các món muối Tây Nguyên.
Muối trong đời sống của người Tây Nguyên có ý nghĩa quan trọng. Không chỉ dùng để ăn, muối còn là lễ vật cúng tế trong các hội lễ. Ngày nay, kết hợp với các nguyên liệu khác, muối được chế biến thành các món ăn lạ, độc đáo.
Đồng bào Jrai (Gia Rai) sống tập trung chủ yếu ở các tỉnh Tây Nguyên như Gia Lai, Kon Tum, Đắk Lắk. Cuộc sống của họ gắn liền với nương rẫy với cây lúa, bắp, đầu cùng những cánh đồng ruộng bên triền đồi núi Tây Nguyên.
Lá mì là loại rau xanh có tỷ lệ đạm thực vật vào loại cao, là một nguồn bổ sung dinh dưỡng tốt cho con người.
Sắn mì là loại cây nuôi người kỳ diệu, dễ trồng, hợp với đất rừng nguyên sinh, ăn được cả củ và lá. Nhổ một cây lên lấy củ, phải trồng lại mấy lóng hom giống cho người đến sau có cái mà ăn tiếp.
4. Món nướng gói trong lá – Anung Kop của người Jrai
Anung Kop theo tiếng Jrai (Jơ Rai) có nghĩa là món nướng gói trong lá. Các món này thường được làm bằng nguyên liệu như: thịt, cua, cá, lươn, ếch, nhái, các loại rau hoặc lá mì, bắp chuối, bông đu đủ… gói vào lá rồi nướng trên than hay vùi vào tro nóng.
Anung Kop là món ăn dân dã của người Jrai (Jơ Rai) nay đã được một số nhà hàng ẩm thực truyền thống tại Phố núi Pleiku đưa vào thực đơn để phục vụ khách.
Món gà xông khỏi cách chế biến khá độc đáo. Món gà xông khói của người Jrai có sức hấp dẫn đặc biệt với những ai từng thưởng thức.
Theo ông Siu Núi – già làng Plei Ốp phường Hoa Lư, thành phố Pleiku. Món gà xông khói của người Jơ Rai được “khai sinh” từ những chuyến đi rừng, đi rẫy xa của dân làng.
Để thịt gà chín mà không bị cháy, khô và vẫn giữ được vị ngọt, mang hương vị của mùi khói bếp, người Jrai (Jơ Rai) xưa đã nghĩ ra cách xông thịt gà trên khói bếp trong một khoảng thời gian khá lâu
Chầm chậm thưởng thức món ăn truyền thống gói trong lá sen tươi bên cạnh thức uống đặc trưng của cao nguyên Pleiku, cảm giác như một món quà đầu ngày.
Xôi là món ăn quen thuộc, hợp khẩu vị với số đông. Một gói xôi nhỏ đáp ứng đầy đủ tiêu chí cho những người cần một bữa sáng nhanh gọn, giàu năng lượng để làm việc và hợp túi tiền.
Ở tỉnh Gia Lai, để có tô bún cua thúi hấp dẫn, ngon miệng quan trọng nhất là khâu ủ cua. Thịt cua đồng sau khi lọc lấy nước thì ủ khoảng 1 ngày đêm cho đến khi chuyển màu đen và bốc ra mùi thum thủm thì đem chế biến món bún nổi danh vùng đất này.
Theo đó, bún mắm cua (hay còn gọi là bún cua thúi, bún thúi) là đặc sản ở tỉnh Gia Lai. Bởi điểm đặc biệt của món ăn này chính màu đen đục và mùi thum thủm của nước dùng. Sở dĩ gọi như vậy để người dân có thể phân biệt với bún riêu cua hay các món khác chế biến từ cua.
Như đúng cái tên Lẩu nấm nhà lành, tất cả các món ăn là sự kì vọng được mang đến sự an lành cho thực khách từ việc chọn lọc nguyên liệu, tỉ mỉ trong từng khâu chế biến cùng nguyên tắc 3 không: không đường, không hạt nêm, không sử dụng gia vị pha sẵn
Ngày nay, món phở khô Gia Lai đã dần trở nên phổ biến và có mặt tại nhiều địa phương, nhiều khu vực trên phạm vi cả nước. Tuy nhiên, do khẩu vị vùng miền có khác nhau, cho nên ở mỗi nơi đặt chân đến thì phở khô Gia Lai lại có một hương vị riêng biệt, không nơi nào giống nơi nào.

Thành phố Pleikulà trung tâm kinh tế, chính trị, văn hóa, xã hội của tỉnh. Gia Lai là một tỉnh có nguồn tài nguyên du lịch khá phong phú, đa dạng với nhiều cảnh quan thiên nhiên hùng vĩ, thắng cảnh đẹp… là sự hòa hợp của hệ thống sông suối xen lẫn núi đồi, ao hồ, ghềnh thác và những khu rừng nguyên sinh.
Cùng với nền văn hóa bản địa đặc sắc của đồng bào dân tộc địa phương mà chủ yếu là Jrai, Bahnar thể hiện qua kiến trúc nhà rông, nhà sàn, nhà mồ, qua lễ hội truyền thống, y phục và nhạc cụ, v.v… Đặc biệt “Không gian văn hóa Cồng Chiêng Tây Nguyên” đã được UNESCO công nhận là di sản văn hóa phi vật thể đại diện của nhân loại.
Thêm vào đó, Gia Lai có bề dày lịch sử được thể hiện qua các khu di tích lịch sử văn hóa như khu di tích lịch sử Tây Sơn Thượng Đạo, làng kháng chiến Stơr, đền tưởng niệm và tượng đài chiến thắng Đak Pơ, di tích khảo cổ học Gò Đá và Rộc Tưng tại thị xã An Khê.

Thác K50 hay còn gọi là thác Hang Én ở Gia Lai
Nhiều người đến với thác K50 đã choáng ngợp vì “cả không gian kỳ vĩ nên thơ và huyền ảo, dường như tất cả những vẻ tinh túy của đất trời, của thiên nhiên đều hội tụ ở chốn này”.
Con thác rất ít người biết, một khám phá thú vị cho các bạn mê khám phá thiên nhiên.
Để đến được thác Kleng, từ trung tâm xã Bar Măih, du khách đi theo biển báo chỉ dẫn đường vào Nhà máy sản xuất điện TTC H’Chan (thuộc Công ty cổ phần Thủy điện Gia Lai) chừng 13 km, sau đó đi bộ men theo lòng suối khoảng 400 m nữa.
Thác Hang Dơi độc đáo ở chỗ là dưới chân con thác có một hang động nơi dơi ở. Dòng nước đổ xuống trước miệng hang nơi có đàn dơi trú ngụ. Thác Hang Dơi gần với khu dân cư. Từ thị trấn Kbang, men theo con đường mòn về hướng Đông chưa đầy 5km là đã tới được thác Hang Dơi.
Thác Phú Cường — Thác nước trên nền nham thạch núi lửa
Thác Phú Cường chảy trên nền nham thạch của một ngọn núi lửa đã ngưng hoạt động, thác Phú Cường (xã Dun, huyện Chư Sê) nằm trên dòng chảy của suối Ia Pết hòa vào sông Ayun rồi xuôi về hạ nguồn đổ xuống hồ Ayun Hạ.
Thác Kueng Ohay còn gọi làThác Bàvới dòng nước trong vắt, trải dài trên từng bậc đá. Mùa mưa, nước tung bọt trắng xóa, mùa khô nước bỗng hóa mềm mại như dải lụa.
Thác Phú Cường — Chư Sê là cái tên được nhắc đầu tiên trong bản đồ du lịch mỗi khi người ta muốn có một chuyến dã ngoại, camping ngắm thác, tắm suối.
Thác Kon Bông — thác Ba Tầng vẻ đẹp say đắm giữa rừng xanh
Thác Kon Bông còn có tên gọi là thác Ba Tầng. Để chiêm ngưỡng được vẻ đẹp hùng vĩ, hoang sơ của thác này, chúng tôi phải vượt 60km từ trung tâm huyện Kbang vào xã Đăk Rong,Kbang.
Thác Xung Khoeng — Thác nước đẹp ở thị trấn Chư Prông
Thác Xung Khoeng nằm gần khu dân cư, với đặc điểm về địa hình rừng núi, thiên nhiên phong phú Gia Lai có rất nhiều thác nước đẹp nằm rải rác trên toàn tỉnh. Nhưng trong số đó có lẽ thác Xung Khoeng đặc biệt hơn cả là nằm gần khu dân cư không xa trung tâm thị trấn Chư Prông.
Thác Yon Tok thuộc địa phận xã Ia Glai, huyện Chư Sê, tỉnh Gia Lai. Con thác có ba dòng thác: thác chính ở giữa ầm ào ngày đêm và hai thác phụ ở hai bên như suối tóc. Khi những tia nắng cuối ngày chiếu xuống, thác Yon Tok tựa như dải lụa mềm mại, bồng bềnh trôi.
Thác Đôi hùng vĩ ở xã Trang và ruộng bậc thang Đăk Tơ Pê đẹp mê hồn
Thác Đôi nằm nằm ở phía cuối ruộng bậc thangĐăk Tơ Pê rộng lớn, đây là ngọn thác đẹp nhất của xã Trang. Thác Đôi hoang sơ với con nước đổ từ độ cao 150m xuống vực sâu tạo nên quang cảnh hùng vĩ hiếm thấy.
Thác Tơ Cây có độ cao trên 10 m, tựa vào những bộ rễ cổ thụ lâu năm đan xen nhau và ăn sâu xuống dưới lòng đất. Những bộ rễ này là chỗ dựa êm ái cho dòng thác đổ xuống, tung bọt trắng xóa.
Đừng quá vội vàng, hãy ở lại vài hôm rồi mình chỉ cho bạn đi Chư Sê – chiêm ngưỡng Thác Phú Cường, đi dọc theo con suối Ia Pết check Thác Kueng O thơ mộng. Nơi đây có thể rủ bạn bè nghỉ ngơi cắm trại, thiên nhiên trong lành của Tây Nguyên.
